Guarantee
We warrant goods against defect in materials and workmanship for 12
months (unless specified differently in the product details, or as
below*) from the date of
despatch to you. At our choice we will repair or exchange free of
charge goods returned to us suitably packed and carriage paid.
Other damage accidental or otherwise is not covered by this guarantee.
*Colour fading; dyes use in the liquids of thermometers are now
subject to the EU regulations that limit the materials that may be
used in products manufactured or sold within the EU. The
elimination of heavy metals such as Cadmium, for example, in many
products is on the basis of it's health risk as it is highly toxic.
The end result is that many dyes, including those used in
thermometer liquids, are less able to resist fading, particularly so
when exposed to the high levels of UV light associated with direct
sunlight. As all types of thermometer should be used out of
direct sunlight to avoid displaying high readings, it is now also
important to do so to minimise colour fading of the liquids.
The above regulations will affect all thermometers sold within the
EU, not just those from ThermometerShop.
AMS Products Ltd is not able to include colour fading within it's
one year guarantee, as the degree of exposure to UV light is within
the customer's control.

Transit damage must be notified within 48 hours
of receipt of the goods. Many of our products are glass, or
contain glass and/or sensitive mechanisms and should be inspected for transit damage on receipt,
even if there is no apparent damage to the packaging. At our
choice we will supply a replacement free of charge, or refund the price
of the goods. |

Unhappy
with your goods?
Return
the goods to us undamaged, in original packing & carriage
paid to the address at the bottom of this page within 14 days from receipt
and we will refund the price of the goods. |
